[University of Hawaii at Manoa] Assistant Professor of Korean Linguistics The University of Hawaii at Manoa, Department of East Asian Languages and Literatures (EALL), invites applications for a tenure track Assistant Professor of Korean Linguistics. Appointment to begin August 1, 2025 pending position clearance and availability of funds. The Department of EALL is among the largest departments of its kind in the country and offers a curriculum unparalleled in its breadth and scope in Chinese, Japanese, and Korean language, linguistics, literature, and culture. We offer BA in Chinese, Japanese, and Korean; MA & PhD in EALL, with a concentration on Chinese, Japanese, and Korean Linguistics and Literature. Responsibilities: Teach undergraduate and graduate courses in Korean Linguistics. Conduct research in the field of Korean Linguistics. Participate in departmental and university service activities. Advise students in their academic and professional development. Minimum Qualifications: PhD in Linguistics or a related field. Demonstrated expertise in Korean Linguistics.
