The Corporate Development Sr. Analyst will play an essential role in the evaluation and execution of M&A transactions. This individual will work across all aspects of the deal process including qualitative and quantitative analysis to support targeting, financial modeling, due diligence, transition and post-merger integration, and investment performance tracking. This person should have strong work ethic, and be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment, often supporting multiple projects in parallel. The Corporate Development Sr. Analyst will report to the Director of Corporate Development.
Role Responsibilities
Build and maintain robust financial/valuation models to evaluate and support corporate development opportunities.
Coordinate and execute large cross-functional due diligence processes, including the management of virtual data rooms.
Assist in the development of the M&A pipeline by supplementing external research and analyses and coordinating ongoing internal M&A strategy development efforts.
Prepare high-quality presentation materials to senior leaders and key stakeholders.
Monitor and track the performance of previous corporate development investments.
Ad-hoc analysis for senior management.
Role Requirements
BA/BS level degree in Business, Finance, or related required.
A minimum of 2 years of experience in investment banking, valuation, private equity, or corporate / business development.
Experience in some aspects of the deal transaction process preferred (e.g. market research, target identification, financial/business analysis, due diligence, and integration/separation activities).
Expert financial modeling skills and acumen of valuation methodologies.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
Progress towards CFA or other financial certification is a plus.
Salary
The on-target earnings range is $73,000 – 113,000.00 per year, which includes a base salary and short-term incentives that align with individual and company performance. Actual salaries will vary based on candidates' qualifications, skills, and competencies.
