Acts as primary driver on day-to-day development work for global regulatory reporting system. Advises business unit Senior Management on regulatory implications of proposed transactions. Recognized as a specialist within the company and requires in-depth and/or breadth of expertise in financial reporting and general knowledge of other job disciplines within the function.Major Duties:Develop methodologies, processes, controls and system requirements across all regulatory jurisdictions to onboard new returns/products onto global regulatory reporting system.Interact with multiple jurisdictions on clearly identifying the needs and implementing project deliverables by the established timelines.Strong communication, project management, and presentation skills required.Lead control design, and robust, comprehensive documentation of data requirements, and testing phases.Advise business unit senior management on regulatory implications of proposed transactions.Seasoned multi-disciplinary expert with extensive technical and/or business knowledge and functional expertise.Focus of role is on execution of strategic direction of business function activities.Carries out complex initiatives involving multiple disciplines and/or ambiguous issues.Exercises judgment based on the analysis of multiple sources of information.Participates in developing division strategic plan and sets goals and priorities based on the direction set for the unit; follows through to ensure that objectives are met.Provides leadership and guidance to staff, fostering an environment that encourages employee participation, teamwork, and communication.Working with Us:As a Northern Trust partner, greater achievements await.
