As part of Corporate Treasury at CNB, the Senior Liquidity Analyst will be responsible for supporting the liquidity reporting needs and analytics at the bank, including Liquidity Coverage Ratio, Internal Liquidity Stress Testing, Net Stable Funding Ratio, and 2052a. Also supports data needs and analysis stemming from business needs, 2nd line and audits requests. Maintains and documents the bank's liquidity assumptions and the support for production and annual requirements including the testing of the contingency funding plan.What you will doProvide research and analytical support on liquidity risks relating to the bank’s business activities, regulatory requirements and enterprise governance framework.Liquidity Reporting and Validation: Includes monthly production runs and validation of results for liquidity stress scenarios and standalone reporting needs when City National Bank (“CNB”) surpasses regulatory compliance thresholds. Also encompasses emergent needs in intraday reporting and support for deposit runs and the LCR/NSFR calculation for CNB.Updates department policies and procedures, including enhancement of documentation and implementation of updates and recommendations to liquidity stress scenario assumptions.Maintains support for internal/external liquidity audits and compliance to the Federal Reserve Board/Office of the Comptroller of the Currency (“FRB/OCC”) liquidity recommendations. Research and implement changes to address recommendations provided by internal/external liquidity audits.Support for annual policy reviews, annual CFP desktop test, and ongoing monitoring and refinement of early warning indicators, assistance in monthly ALCO package compilation.Support for broad Treasury operations and ad-hoc projects.Perform other duties as assigned.Must-Have*Bachelor's Degree or equivalentMinimum of 5 years of experience in a banking environment.Minimum of 5 years of financial analysis experience.Skills and KnowledgeExperience in Liquidity Risk preferred.Understanding of Treasury Operations with an emphasis on liquidity management.Knowledge of balance sheet, income statement, and accounting fundamentals.Experience with Regulatory and/or Risk-related financial reporting and modeling.Strong quantitative skills, including the knowledge of Microsoft Excel VBA, SQL and Python/R.Ability to perform deep analysis of large volumes of data and streamline results to reporting formats.Excellent analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.Excellent oral, written and interpersonal communication skills with the ability to convey complex concepts in a clear and concise manner and provide clear guidance to all levels of staff, adapting the communications to the experience and knowledge level of the target audience.CompensationStarting base salary: $87,027 - $138,965 per year. Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location.
