In my role as an Executive Recruiter, I am searching for a Market President in a Seaside Community.
Market President
The Market President is responsible for
Commercial Loan
origination, the overall performance of the branches and will be the primary “face” of the branch in the community. They lead and direct business development, sales management and the overall direction of the two branches. They work with the Branch Operations Manager to develop new deposit and loan business; provide superior level of customer service and promote a sales culture through mentoring and coaching. Oversees the implementation of human resource strategy that involves cultivating a solid team and leadership according to our client’s Texas’ core values and mission statement ensuring optimum customer and employee experience.
This is an onsite position in a port city on a beautiful part of the Gulf Coast of Texas. Relocation expenses will be covered by the bank.
Key Responsibilities:
Business/Sales Development:
Commercial Loan Origination
Maintains strong collaborative relationships across lines of business
Prospects and develops deposit growth, credit portfolio, product sales including Merchant Services and Business Solutions
Professionally maintains a presence in the community and engages centers of influence to gain bank exposure by volunteering on boards and committees
Delivers superior customer service to potential and current customers
Typically functions as a Commercial Lending Officer, with all such responsibilities
Coaching/Mentoring:
Provides direction for Branch Operations Manager, sets goals, and oversees goal execution
Manages and effectively communicates with their team to improve performance
Requirements:
College degree preferred and/or relevant years of experience may substitute at discretion of management
Generally, 5-10 years’ experience in market development and management
Ability to manage and lead a diverse team in a sales culture environment
Ability to execute strong time management skills
Ability to effectively communicate, innovate, inspire, all with a servant leadership mentality
