Understand and interpret New Product Introduction (NPI) proposals, have a strong business acumen to raise concerns/inefficiencies and drive solutions.Be independent. Have a clear understanding of the end-to-end NPI process and how this role fits into the process, by owning the SKU setup in various systems to enable proper accounting in accordance with US GAAP and ASC 606, proposing and maintaining the Standalone Selling Price (SSP) for products, as well as executing the related SOX controls.Participate in the SSP framework review project as well as the SSP annual update process.Solution collaboratively with cross-functional stakeholders (Pricing Strategy, Pricing Operations, Deal Desk, Corporate Accounting, FP&A, Sales Ops, DT, etc.) to drive better process innovation and workflow decisions.Regularly involved in various system enhancement projects or new business initiatives, participate in UATs to drive projects to successful completion.Challenge the “status quo.” Have a continuous-improvement mindset and take initiative to streamline existing processes to stay abreast of the company’s growth.Support month-end close, SOX, external audit, and management and external reporting as needed.Qualifications

To be successful in this role you have:Working knowledge of US GAAP and a good understanding of ASC 606Independent thinker and a go-getterExcellent written and oral communication skillsStrong analytical and problem-solving skillsStrong data management skills and proficiency in tools like Excel, Power BI, etc.Passion for learning, and the ability to adapt to changes and to comprehend complex topics quicklyEffective communicator, able to comprehend complex topics and convey ideas in a clear and concise mannerHave a “Can Do” and “Will Do” mindsetGreat interpersonal skills and work well with diverse culturesAbility to manage stress and navigate multiple deadlines with dedicationBig 4 or Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) revenue accounting experience is a plusExperience with SAP is a plusFor positions in California (outside of the Bay Area), we offer a base pay of $88,300 - $145,700, plus equity (when applicable), variable/incentive compensation and benefits. Sales positions generally offer a competitive On Target Earnings (OTE) incentive compensation structure. Please note that the base pay shown is a guideline, and individual total compensation will vary based on factors such as qualifications, skill level, competencies and work location.
