You have the ability to make a difference and advance your career through demonstrated leadership, welcoming new challenges, and recognizing the potential in others.Essential Functions and Primary DutiesRegarded as a Subject Matter Expert within the business unit and shares knowledgeMake recommendations on internal department proceduresRecognize business opportunities for our clients and for CBIZRelied upon for knowledge of industry trends, identify client issues and conflicts; proactively communicate solution options to management and teamManage staff on engagement deliverables; complete reviews as a member of the final review team to ensure quality control standards are metResponsible for new client development in partnership with upper management; participate in client meetings and presentation and proposal developmentUnderstand client’s Qualified Plan needsSupervise, train, and mentor staff; listen and communicate effectivelyWork to develop responsible, trained staff by conducting performance feedback and evaluationsDrive a team environment; demonstrate support of management decisions and build a positive cultureAdditional responsibilities as assignedPreferred QualificationsMaster’s degree in Accounting, Finance or relevant fieldMinimum QualificationsBachelor’s degree required8 years experience in public accounting or related field5 years supervisory experienceMust have active CPA or equivalent certificationAbility to manage all aspects of client engagementsAbility to manage deadlines, work on multiple assignments, and prioritize each assignment as necessaryDemonstrated ability to communicate verbally and in writing throughout all levels of organization, both internally and externallyProficient use of applicable technologyMust be able to travel based on business needs
