https://www.coe.miami.edu/ ) at the University of Miami invites nominations and applications for the Chair of the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering. The Department is housed in the College of Engineering and complements five other existing Departments. The position will offer opportunities to hire several new faculty to promote the strategic initiatives of the College, interact with several other units at the University, including the Frost Institute of Data Sciences, Miller School of Medicine, and others. The successful candidate will be tenured in the College of Engineering, and joint appointments with other university departments are also possible. The search is open to candidates with expertise in any of the areas of electrical and computer engineering.Interested candidates should have an earned Ph.D. in a relevant engineering or science discipline. The individual should present a vision and have demonstrated leadership skills to create a vibrant department and enterprise, consistent with the mission and vision of the College of Engineering.
