Burns & McDonnell is a 100% employee owned company with a 123 year history in the water/wastewater business. Our Denver office is looking for a talented employee owner to serve as a Senior Environmental Engineer/Project Manager to support our municipal water/wastewater process departments.

Skills at a minimum should include:

Strong project engineering history with a proven record of building strong client relationships.

Strong technical capabilities with the development of contract documents including a thorough understanding of all engineering concepts related to municipal water/wastewater treatment facility and pumping facilities design and construction.

Experience with permitting of water/wastewater facilities through local, state, and federal regulators.

Excellent written and verbal communication.

Strong commitment to working in a team environment.

Attention to detail and company quality control procedures.

Qualifications

The successful candidate must possess a bachelor's degree in civil or environmental engineering from an accredited program with a water or civil curriculum focus.

This position requires at least 8 years related experience (completion of a master's degree in related field may be substituted for one year experience) with design and construction administration of water/wastewater treatment and pumping projects. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills along with excellent written and verbal communication skills are a must.

The successful candidate must be capable of executing all phases of projects including planning, preparation of specifications & drawings, construction administration and field observation on occasion.

Valid driver's license required. In addition, must meet standards to qualify for and maintain the Company's vehicle driving privileges as outlined in the Company's Motor Vehicle Safety Policy.

Compensation

$140,000.00-190,000.00 Annually

The expected compensation range for this position is displayed in compliance with all local/state regulations. The expected compensation range for this position is based on a number of factors, including but not limited to: individual education, qualifications, prior work experience and work location. The total annual compensation package will consist of a base salary and eligibility to participate in our discretionary year-end incentive bonus program.
