Job Summary:
Supermicro is seeking solutions (DevOps) engineer with hands-on experience to design and implement web-based products. As a Solution Engineer, you will be leveraging your expert technical knowledge and past implementation experience in designing and building our new cloud solutions based on latest industry cloud software development technologies such as Kubernetes, Python, Postgres, etc.Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Includes the following essential duties and responsibilities (other duties may also be assigned):• Build web-based tools using Python, Postgres• Design, implement and software products for enterprise-scale requirements• Understanding of structured databases such as Postgres and unstructured object storage• Understand technologies such as Kubernetes / CEPH / VMWare / OpenStack• Manage the hardware in the labQualifications:
• Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or Mechanical Engineering• 5+ years of programming using Python, Postgress, etc• Working knowledge in using ELK stack• Experience with Agile development tools (Jira, Git)• Confident presenter, and strong influencer; able to adapt level and style to the audienceSalary Range
$82,000 - $120,000The salary offered will depend on several factors, including your location, level, education, training, specific skills, years of experience, and comparison to other employees already in this role. In addition to a comprehensive benefits package, candidates may be eligible for other forms of compensation, such as participation in bonus and equity award programs.EEO Statement
