Software Engineer – Hybrid

Role Title: Software EngineerDuration: 6 monthsPay Rate: $97.60/hrWork Location: Hybrid within drivable distance from Seattle office.Work Schedule: Normal PST business hours, Monday – FridayVisa: USC, GCProject Overview:Geo Automotive is a business that empowers Automotive OEMs to make software-defined cars, or smart cars, by providing a suite of Maps-based products, including Google Maps Embedded and OEM SDK. This project aims to create a maps navigation app, written in Android, that integrates with the OEM SDK product. The app will visualize the map and provide the driver with a set of features to assist everyday driving.Overall Responsibilities:

Given the OEM SDK API documentation and product requirements, design, implement, and test the maps app.Collaborate with Senior developers and API developers to implement end-to-end user features including UI, storage, and networking components.Provide feedback to the API developers.Top 3 Daily Responsibilities:

Implement end-to-end user features.Validate the API with its specs.Mandatory Skills/Qualifications:

Education: Bachelor’s in computer science or equivalent.3+ years of experience in Android software development.3+ years of experience in application development with user interfaces.Fluent written and spoken English.Kotlin programming experience.Git version control.Non-Essential Skills/Qualifications:

Experience in the Automotive industry (e.g., Headunit and Infotainment software development).Experience in on-device API development.Experience in building maps applications using Mapbox SDK or MapLibre SDK.Interested candidates email your resume to
