Customers get exceptional service whether they’re looking for a simple, instant answer, or personalized help on their most complex issues — and you get the analytics and insights your business needs to optimize your customer experience.We are looking for an experienced Full Stack engineer to lead the Activation team at Front, which owns our trial experience and new customer onboarding flows. To be successful in this role you must be a quick learner, have proven software development skills, enjoy solving hard problems, and work well in a small, cross-functional, dynamic team. You should also have experience leading teams that develop and make product decisions through rigorous experimentation.This is a hybrid role, expected to be in our San Francisco office on Tuesdays and Thursdays.What will you be doing?
Work on all parts of the trial experience for Front - anything that goes into converting companies from passive explorers to paid customers is in focus for this team!Building features and experiences that help converted customers get the most out of Front, turning them into long term, high value customers.Designing experiments to test hypotheses on features/changes that might improve our trial conversion rate, and ultimately drive more new business revenue for Front.Lead a team of high-performing engineers, providing technical guidance and driving key technical decisions.Design and contribute to sub-systems to make Front a better, more powerful collaboration software.Work closely with product managers, product designers and other engineers to conceptualize, build and test new features.What skills and experience do you need?
Industry experience building fast, reliable, real-time web-based applications.Knowledgeable about modern web technologies and excited to learn new ones, e.g. Node.js ES6, TypeScript, React.Exposure to architectural patterns of a large, high-scale web application.Product minded: committed to building the best user experience.Ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced, collaborative, and high-growth environment.Understand the trade-offs in employing different engineering solutions to a problem, valuing pragmatism over idealism.Full professional English proficiency.Bonus:
