In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining high-quality Android applications. Our mobile apps support our Enterprise, SMB, and Consumer businesses. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including product managers, designers, clinical and sales teams, and other engineers to deliver exceptional experiences on Android devices.As Senior Android Engineer at Eko, You Will:
Play a key role in developing software features used by physicians and clinical personnel to monitor cardiac healthDesign, develop, and maintain robust, scalable, and high-performance Android applicationsCollaborate with product managers, designers, and other engineers to define, design, and ship new featuresEnsure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of the applicationsParticipate in code reviews and contribute to the development of best practicesCollaborate with backend developers to define and integrate APIsStay up-to-date with the latest industry trends and technologies to ensure our applications remain current and competitiveAs Senior Android Engineer at Eko, You Have:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience5+ years of industry experience with Android development including KotlinProven track record of delivering high-quality Android applications to the App StoreDeep understanding of mobile application architecture and design patterns.Familiarity with continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) processesStrong problem-solving skills and ability to debug complex issuesKnowledge of UI/UX standards and guidelines for AndroidExcellent communication and collaboration skillsAs a Senior Android Engineer, We Would Appreciate If You Have:
Experience with Kotlin MultiplatformExperience with Bluetooth technology and integrating Bluetooth capabilities into Android applications.Experience working with medical devices or apps in a regulated environmentGood understanding of HIPAA complianceExperience with EHRs (SMART on FHIR, HL7v2, etc.)Benefits and Perks We Offer:
