SCHERMER is seeking a VP of Strategy & Insights! We need a seasoned professional with 15+ years of experience, with B2B experience an absolute must. Please note, this role is not a digital marketing role. If your background is primarily in digital strategy creation or management, this role is not the right fit.
The VP of Strategy & Insights develops and drives the agency’s strategy practice. They develop strategic programs and thinking for our clients, create and maintain relationships with existing and potential clients, and develop strategic solutions and plans that best fit the agency and clients’ needs. The VP of Strategy & Insights is responsible for creating brand identities through research and applying experience to uncover an in-depth knowledge of the organizational process, competitive threats and opportunities of a client’s business.
We’re looking for:A strategic thinker, collaborator, creative problem-solver. An articulate communicator who can synthesize complex data into actionable strategiesStrong competency in qualitative research and ability to construct basic quantitative studiesData master, who can take research results and translate them into insights that are the foundation for marketing strategiesExpertise in B2B marketing and branding strategy (company, go to market, content, portfolio, product positioning & messaging)Proficiency in communications, campaign & content planningAbility to lead client meetings and workshops to support brand positioning, messaging and brand architecture developmentProven track record in leading and overseeing a team of strategy, research, planning and analysis staffA Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience requiredExperience in B2B marketing is absolutely necessaryIf this describes you, we want to hear from you!
