Director of Infection Prevention – Medical AffairsMaineHealth Maine Medical CenterPortland, MEFull TimeRelocation offered to those who qualify.MaineHealth is seeking a Director of Infection Prevention to oversee and manage assigned personnel and infection control services across the acute care and ambulatory care spectrum of MaineHealth. Accountability includes infection surveillance and accreditation readiness, as well as working with Epidemiology leadership to define and execute long-term strategic plans. The director serves as a resource to the infection control staff and for staff throughout the campuses and practice sites within the licenses of the local health systems of MaineHealth.Required Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs)Education:
Bachelor’s degree in the healthcare field required.License/Certifications:
Licensed in a clinical field. Certification in Infection Control required.Experience:
Five years of progressively more responsible management experience in a healthcare setting, preferably in infection prevention or epidemiology required.Preferred Skills:
