Job Summary:The Chief Security Officer will establish and manage the company's technological infrastructure and ensure its smooth operation. The ideal candidate will have experience in managing IT systems, troubleshooting technical issues, and implementing new technologies based on industry trends and best practices. The CSO directs IT strategy, planning, infrastructure operations, application support, cyber-security, and portfolio management, ensuring that the technology applied is aligned with overall business strategy. The CSO maintains current on new and emerging technologies and platforms and provides direction on which should be adopted and integrated. The successful candidate will possess a record of professional experience that demonstrates progressive responsibilities and significant senior-level management experience in a complex IT environment. The CSO will work onsite at Analog's main office in Bellevue, Washington.

Qualifications:Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field

10+ years of relevant professional experience, including at least 5 years of management of technology professionals; or an equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the essential duties of the job as listed above.

Experience with security (physical, logical, cyber-security), risk management, incident management, forensics investigations or similar systems.

Ability to implement security, network, operations, and compliance control systems, software/hardware engineering offices and product quality systems.

Strong understanding of hardware, software, and networking systems

Ability to work cross-departmentally, facilitating cooperation between teams and leading by example to ensure alignment on organization-wide goals and mission delivery.

Outstanding attention to detail and a high degree of accuracy.

Experience building complex software services and applications at multiple levels of engagement.

Commitment to maintaining confidentiality.

Passionate about operational excellence through proper automation and engineering processes

Strong distributed systems and engineering background

Superb problem-solving skills, and able to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.

Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.

Broad familiarity with and knowledge of a wide range of technologies.

Experience navigating competing priorities in multiple technology areas with limited capacity.

Experience explaining complex technology to a non-technical audience and working with stakeholders of many backgrounds.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively communicate security and compliance requirements to stakeholders at all levels.

“Ground truth” and/or “Real World” experience a big plus!

Responsibilities:

Install and maintain hardware and software systems.

Troubleshoot technical issues and provide support to employees.

Manage and maintain the company's network and servers.

Implement new technologies and ensure compatibility with existing systems.

Ensure data backup and disaster recovery plans are in place and functioning properly.

Lead program security (physical, logical, cyber-security), risk management, incident management, and forensics investigations of systems.

Accountable for infrastructure, compliance, and security.

Define, develop, and implement policies and procedures.

Oversee Analog technology teams and infrastructure, including ultimate responsibility for its budget.

Lead strategic decision-making in the technology sector, balancing competing organizational priorities, adopting, and aligning major technology changes.

Oversee internal technology infrastructure and provide leadership and guidance on architecture, systems, and lifecycle management.

Seek out digital innovations, such as platforms and lead exploration, data-driven analysis, and evaluation of trends and developments, including assessing opportunities to add value.

Ensure that technology teams build and maintain a scalable architecture enabling rapid innovation and new product development.

Work with tech team leaders and other relevant staff to respond to a quickly evolving content delivery landscape; maintain a current awareness of emerging technologies, methods, and best practices across different technology stacks.

Oversee cross-divisional teams working on org-wide projects and effectively nurture and promote Analog’s organizational culture of high performance and continuous improvement. Analyze technical risks and advise on risk mitigation strategies.

Develop all technical staff using a supportive and collaborative approach including assigning accountabilities, setting objectives, establishing priorities, and monitoring and evaluating results; ensure staff members receive timely and appropriate training and development, frequent feedback, and ongoing professional development.

Serve in a leadership role for the organization, including multi-year strategic planning, and the creation and execution of org-wide annual planning processes.

Manage vendor relationships and negotiate contracts for IT services.

Stay up to date with industry trends and best practices in IT.
