Chief Operating Officer (COO) . As the COO, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our food processing plant. This includes business planning, operations management, finance, budgeting, and utilizing analytical skills. You will work closely with the executive team to ensure operational excellence and drive growth.Responsibilities:
Making the supply chain as efficient as possible to reduce overhead and operating costs, increase speed of deliverables, and introduce new products to market.Utilizes data from current and past performances, to strategically map out forecasting for supply chain management.Introduce new resources to prepare the supply chain for future challenges.Coordinate both with internal staff and external vendors, by introducing new elements of supply chain best business practices.Explain how initiatives can be implemented, both internally and externally with 3rd party vendors.Tasked with keeping operations uninterrupted even as all elements of the supply chain are constantly evaluated for areas of improvement.Strategize with the CEO and Management Team, to address each issue that confronts the supply chain.Partner with Human Resources on Management mentorship program, and staff evaluations.Responsible for extending growth to the end consumer and maintaining the health of the business by facilitating growth.Partner with Management Team to factor in consumer satisfaction, management decision making, data initiatives, and customer feedback.Implement new operations strategy influenced by customer experience, satisfaction, and adaptation, to show metrics of success.Decision-making process on ethics and integrity.Able to work independently.Oversee daily operations of the company and the work of executives in manufacturing, production, and logistics.Lead operational planning and execution to meet business goals.Develop and implement operational policies and procedures.Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity and efficiency.Manage budgeting and financial planning processes.Analyze operational performance and implement strategies to improve efficiency and profitability.Ensure compliance with industry regulations and standards.Collaborate with other executives to align operations with the overall company strategy.Develop and manage relationships with key stakeholders, including suppliers and partners.Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, or a related field.MBA or advanced degree is a plus.Certification in food safety and sanitation is a plus.Proven experience in business planning and operations management.Strong analytical skills with the ability to make data-driven decisions.Background in finance and budgeting.Excellent leadership and communication skills.Experience in the food industry is preferred.In-depth knowledge of food industry regulations and best practices.Experience with supply chain management and logistics.Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.Job Type: Full-timePay: $180,000.00 - $195,000.00 per yearBenefits:
