It is our desire at Chick-fil-A Wrigleyville to be a "home away from home" for our community. We will strive to achieve this through pursuing excellence in all areas, starting with building a High Performance Leadership Team. The Operations Director role at Chick-fil-A Wrigleyville will report directly to the Owner/Operator and sit on a team of other Directors. The Operations Director will have full responsibility of their respective area of the business including - but not limited to - growing top line revenue, managing food and labor costs, upholding operational excellence, achieving monthly guests satisfaction and profitability goals, and stewarding leadership development amongst the team. The ideal candidate will have high level leadership experience, a tenacious desire to continuously improve, and a variety of experiences with operations, budget management, and sales.
Responsibilities :
Daily operational execution
Manage P&L costs to drive both top line and bottom line growth
Steward development amongst team
Strategic planning
Meet monthly customer satisfaction goals
Ensure clean and safe environment
Serve guests quickly with accuracy
Develop and uphold operations systems & processes
Qualifications :
1-5 years Operations leadership experience
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Team player
Able to work long hours (including late nights and weekends)
Experience with strategic planning
Preferred Qualifications :
Bachelor's Degree
2-5 years budget maintenance
2-5 years operations/sales experience
Microsoft suite proficiency

REQUIREMENTS
Minimum 18+ years old
Previous customer service experience
Previous leadership experience
Ability to handle all equipment, pans, pots, navigating shelving both high and low
Flexible Schedule - Late nights & weekends
Operations experience
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Able to lift at least 50 pounds
Adapt to volatile service environments
Must be able to handle various customers
Able to make quick, effective decisions under pressure
Chick-fil-A, Inc., Founder S. Truett started the business in 1946, when he and his brother, Ben, opened an Atlanta diner known as The Dwarf Grill (later renamed The Dwarf House). Through the years, that restaurant prospered and led Cathy to further the success of his business. In 1967, Cathy founded and opened the first Chick-fil-A restaurant in Atlanta's Greenbriar Shopping Center. Today, Chick-fil-A has the highest same-store sales and is the largest quick-service chicken restaurant chain in the United States based on annual system-wide sales. Cathy’s family has continued his tradition of leadership, including his son Dan, who was appointed as the company’s CEO in 2013, and grandson Andrew, who serves as the current Chick-fil-A CEO.
