Made (Entertainment) is a senior leadership role responsible for overseeing the strategic planning, development, and execution of all entertainment-related initiatives within the organization. This role requires a visionary leader who can drive innovation, enhance audience engagement, and deliver exceptional entertainment experiences across various platforms and formats. The VP of e.l.f. Made will work closely with the executive team to align entertainment strategies with the company’s overall objectives and ensure the successful implementation of projects that meet both creative and business goals. Key Responsibilities Strategic Leadership: Develop and execute a comprehensive entertainment strategy that aligns with the company's vision and goals. Identify emerging trends in entertainment, technology, and audience behavior to drive innovation. Lead cross-functional teams to conceptualize and develop new entertainment formats, content, and experiences. Content Development: Oversee the creation, acquisition, and production of high-quality content across various media, including television, film, digital platforms, live events, and emerging technologies. Collaborate with creative teams, producers, and partners to ensure content meets brand standards and resonates with target audiences. Manage the development and execution of original programming and intellectual property that enhances the company's entertainment portfolio. Business Development: Identify and cultivate strategic partnerships and business opportunities that expand the company’s entertainment offerings. Negotiate contracts and agreements with content creators, talent, distributors, and other stakeholders. Drive revenue growth through innovative monetization strategies, including sponsorships, licensing, merchandising, and digital platforms. Operational Management: Oversee the budget, financial planning, and resource allocation for the entertainment division. Ensure efficient and effective management of entertainment projects from concept to completion. Implement best practices in project management, production processes, and risk management. Team Leadership: Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing entertainment team, fostering a culture of creativity, collaboration, and excellence. Provide guidance and support to team members in their professional growth and career development. Promote diversity, equity, and inclusion within the entertainment division and across all content produced. Audience Engagement: Develop strategies to enhance audience engagement and loyalty through innovative content and experiences. Utilize data and analytics to understand audience preferences and tailor entertainment offerings accordingly. Oversee marketing and promotional campaigns to maximize the impact of entertainment initiatives. Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Entertainment, Media, Business, or a related field. A master’s degree is preferred. Minimum of 10+ years of experience in entertainment, media, or a related industry, with a proven track record of success in leadership roles. Strong strategic thinking, creativity, and business acumen, with the ability to translate vision into actionable plans. Extensive experience in content development, production, and distribution across multiple platforms. Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills. Ability to build and maintain relationships with key industry stakeholders, including talent, partners, and executives. Proven ability to lead and inspire teams, driving a culture of innovation and excellence. Deep understanding of the entertainment landscape, including trends, technologies, and audience behaviors. Preferred Skills: Experience in digital media and emerging technologies, such as streaming platforms, VR/AR, and interactive entertainment. A strong network within the entertainment industry.
