We are now looking for the Head of Product Lines, Packaging and Hygiene Solutions Americas.
We are seeking a dynamic and assertive Head of Product Lines for our Packaging and Hygiene Solution Business Unit in the Americas region. This leadership role is pivotal in shaping and executing our strategic product line roadmap, driving competitiveness, and enhancing profitability while fostering sustainability across our product offerings.
In this role you will be responsible for:
Develop and implement a robust product line strategy and roadmap that aligns with our business objectives, ensuring market competitiveness and profitability.
Anticipate customer and market needs through comprehensive analysis, staying ahead of industry trends to inform product development and positioning.
Drive product line profitability through strategic pricing, cost structure improvement, and robust financial oversight.
Define and develop a competitive product portfolio, overseeing the entire product lifecycle to ensure alignment with sales strategies, operational efficiency, and resource allocation.
Integrate sustainability considerations into product development and operational practices, aligning with industry best practices.
Lead long-term capacity planning and footprint optimization initiatives to enhance operational efficiency.
Cultivate strong relationships with key stakeholders across Commercial, Business Development, Manufacturing, R&D, Sourcing, and more to create a unified approach towards achieving common goals.
Articulate a clear product vision and strategy, effectively communicating to team members and stakeholders to inspire and align efforts.
What you’ll bring to the team:
Proven ability to inspire and guide teams through challenging environments, while fostering a culture of success and collaboration.
Deep expertise in product line optimization, profitability management, and lifecycle strategy, with a strong emphasis on sustainable practices.
Excellent interpersonal and executive-level communication skills (verbal, written) to effectively engage and influence stakeholders at all levels.
Strong leadership in building and managing cross-functional, complex teams, with hands-on experience in the region.
A hands-on approach with a demonstrated ability to produce high-level, detailed analyses and insights, tailored to diverse audiences, ensuring clarity, relevance, and strategic alignment.
Approximately 10 years of relevant experience in product line management, commercial operations, or related fields, preferably within manufacturing, finance, or business control. A master’s degree in business, engineering, or a related discipline is preferred.
Strong understanding of sales and technical service operations, particularly within the chemical manufacturing landscape, and proficiency in long-term capacity planning.
Comprehensive knowledge of market trends in the paper chemicals sector, enabling informed decision-making and strategic foresight.
Location is based in North America, close to Atlanta, and remote work is accepted, but travel is required to effectively foster growth and collaboration within the regional team.
