GREF is looking for region-based Contract Managers to support our rapidly growing business. Your responsibilities will include managing the GREF contract process end-to-end including: working with vendors to comply with Amazon's various legal, tax, risk terms and conditions; transforming internal processes and systems to track transactions from beginning to end; and coordinating directly with vendors, internal customers, and legal teams. This role reviews all vendor contracts before legal review and confirms compliance within the Amazon spend & transaction policy (S&TP) and other requirements (such as legal, tax, security, etc.). The role provides clear guidance on contract deliverables, responsibilities, accountability, costs (fees involved), terms and service level agreements (SLAs) throughout the entire contracting process with a focus on improving contract quality & reducing cycle times.The role is region-based and we are currently hiring for AMER and APAC.

Key job responsibilities

Establish and manage procedures for contract tracking and communication to ensure consistency and adherence to terms for your assigned region.Implement, maintain, and improve metrics/reporting to monitor contract volumes, cycle times, and contract expiration schedules.Handle vendor-related issues through the Vendor Defect Report and liaise with internal stakeholders to resolve contractual issues prior to Legal engagement.Collaborate with business units to identify projects requiring contract requests and determine project scope.Work with legal teams to ensure proper contract types and reviews are aligned with project scope and requirements.Manage contract intake processes and communicate contract requests efficiently with a focus on reducing cycle times.Recommend tools and improvements for contract management and support program enhancements across people, processes, and technology.Effectively work in a matrix reporting structure that encompasses both dotted and hard lines; and ensure mechanisms for knowledge-sharing across regions and organizations.BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

5+ years of contracts management, procurement, paralegal, or other comparable experience with responsibility for reviewing, drafting and the legal terms of a broad range of standard commercial contracts.Background in real estate, facilities management, and/or construction contract experience.PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

The base pay for this position ranges from $104,000/year in our lowest geographic market up to $168,000/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
