Lead, Employee Listening & Advanced AnalyticsPeopleKlaviyo is looking for an Employee Listening Lead to join our growing People Science & Analytics team. The goal of our People Science & Analytics team is to provide evidence-based data and insights across the employee life cycle to drive strategic talent and business decisions. This role is an integral part of our mission and will be responsible for understanding the voice of our customers (Klaviyo employees) across the lifecycle journey to drive impactful, meaningful and measurable talent experience and outcomes. This role will strike a balance of listening through quantitative and qualitative channels, synthesize the findings through deep data analysis, and deliver insights and actions while educating and empowering our stakeholders. We currently have one opening on the team. This role can be based out of any of our three US office locations (Boston, San Francisco, or Denver).How you’ll make a difference:Co-design, implement, and manage Klaviyo’s employee listening and survey strategy for understanding the experience across the entire employee lifecycle.Serve as subject matter expert and consultant on survey content, administration, and analysis/reporting for employee surveys conducted across Klaviyo.Conduct advanced analytics (such as regressions, correlations, decision trees) to analyze survey data in depth and connect to performance, retention, productivity and other exploratory areas to identify impactful insights proactively.Leverage innovative listening channels to enrich the quality of insights on the employee experience at Klaviyo.Design and analyze qualitative listening channels (e.g., employee focus groups/in-depth interviews) and synthesize findings from quantitative channels.Partner closely with our Senior People Leaders to provide the insights needed to enable their teams to take action on survey results within their lines of business.Manage survey vendor, preparations for launch, stakeholder communications, trainings, support materials, and other aspects of survey operations.Translate data analysis into actionable insights and support action planning org-wide, including creation of plans, providing recommended learning resources, and personalized nudges.Continuously improve listening data architecture, measurement strategies, privacy protection, and reporting practices.Ensure all appropriate data privacy, security, and controls requirements are followed.Who you are:Graduate degree in Industrial/Organizational Psychology or similar field with survey specialization.5+ years employee listening and HR analytics experience, with a focus on assessment of employee engagement.Tech-savvy with experience in navigating survey platforms, responsible AI solutions in this space, and partnering with vendors.Experience designing and managing employee surveys end-to-end, from gathering requirements; designing survey items and invitation logic; working with cross-functional teams and vendors to manage fielding; analyzing results and creating reports; and presenting insights to senior leaders.Excellent research management and organizational skills, acute attention to detail, and ability to balance multiple tasks in a constantly evolving environment.Extremely strong communication, visualization, and articulation skills to deliver meaningful insights to shape People decisions.Deep expertise with application of analytic techniques, including experience with analytics and visualization platforms (e.g., R, SPSS, SAS, Tableau, SQL).Hands-on experience managing, analyzing, and troubleshooting survey and other data.Proven ability to communicate technical concepts, such as sentiment analysis and topic modeling, along with implications, to business and technical audiences.Experience designing and running focus groups and other qualitative methods of listening data collection.Base Pay Range For US Locations:$128,000 — $192,000 USDGet to Know KlaviyoWe’re Klaviyo (pronounced clay-vee-oh).
