Lead and manage all aspects of risk management, audit and compliance for the company.Responsibilities:

Implement an organization-wide strategy to minimize the organization’s current and future exposure to financial, operational, employment or other risks.

Contribute to the development of the organization’s overall risk management strategy. Establish budgets, plans, policies, and programs that will achieve these strategic objectives.

Monitor and evaluate the performance of risk management programs. Review programs to mitigate the organizations’ exposure to risks. Areas of risk may include loss prevention, asset protection, employment, legal and contractual compliance, health and safety, environmental, and other operational risks.

Leads and oversees internal audit activities, including planning, execution, and reporting. Provides guidance to the internal audit team to ensure thorough evaluations of operational processes, financial systems, and compliance measures.

Responsible for overseeing and ensuring organization complies with all state and local permits and licensing requirements.

Managing lifecycle of permits and licenses, from application and renewal to monitoring and reporting. Work closely with various departments to ensure all operations adhere to regulatory requirements, mitigate compliance risks, and maintain good standing with relevant authorities.

Select and manage ongoing relationships with insurance providers to minimize insurance costs and ensure satisfactory standards of service.

Manage, monitor, and evaluate the cost effectiveness of all insurance policies across the organization which may include property and casualty, general and product liability, and directors’ and officers' liability insurance.

Evaluate and understand complex corporate structures, including subsidiaries, affiliates, and joint ventures, to ensure alignment with business objectives and regulatory compliance.

Ensure accurate and up-to-date maintenance of corporate records, including organizational charts, legal entity documents, and ownership structures.

Recruits, mentors, and develops a high-performing team of internal auditors and risk management professionals. Provides coaching, guidance, and training to enhance their skills and capabilities.

OTHER RESPONSIBILITIES:

All other duties as assigned, requested or deemed necessary by management.

Education/Formal Training:

A minimum of a Bachelor's degree is required; advanced degree is preferred.Experience:

10+ years with increasing responsibility in Finance, Audit and Risk ManagementKnowledge/Skills:

Strong working knowledge and familiarity with legal and contractual compliance, regulatory compliance, health and safety, environmental, and other operational risks.

Effective communication and interpersonal skills.

Ability to supervise and mentor multiple team members.

Demonstrated ability to manage multiple deadlines against shifting priorities; highly organized and detail oriented.

Ability to work in a fast-paced, rapidly growing, entrepreneurial organization.

Salary: USD $150,000.00 - USD $170,000.00 /Yr.
