Our Terran R, a medium-to-heavy lift reusable rocket, fulfills the growing demand for launch capacity, thanks to our iterative approach that accelerates design, testing, and development while minimizing costs.About the Team:We are a forward-thinking team developing and optimizing the indirect procurement processes, tools, and policies to quickly expand our factory, test facilities, and launch site. As a Global Supply Manager for Tooling and Ground Support Equipment, you will work closely with our design and manufacturing engineering stakeholders to manage end-to-end procurement and fabrication activities of one-off designs and structures across each of our sites.About the Role:Receive drawing sets, develop procurement plans, and get parts and assemblies fabricated at a variety of vendors.Provide feedback to design engineers on ways to decrease cost and lead time for parts.Partner closely with engineering during the design process to provide feedback and insights on ways to improve manufacturability, ROM prices, and lead times.Manage end-to-end RFx process in partnership with applicable stakeholders to identify top suppliers for a given need and maximize value creation.Negotiate pricing, lead time, terms and conditions to holistically drive the best outcome for the business.Lead purchase order management and invoice issue disposition to ensure on-time delivery and payment.Resolve any procurement-related issues that arise during the life cycle of an order.Collaborate with Indirect and Direct procurement functions to continually deliver more value to Relativity.About You:Engineering degree or similar with 5+ years working in a procurement role within a fast-paced manufacturing, supply chain, or engineering function OR 5+ years as a Journeyman welder or machinist with 2+ years in a procurement role.Ability to read and understand engineering drawings and documentation, including GD&T.Nice to Haves:Experience vetting terms, conditions, and contracts associated with purchases.On the floor fabrication experience (welding, machining, metrology, etc.).Knowledge of enterprise applications (i.e., PLM, ERP, MES) and data analysis tools (i.e., MS Excel, SQL, Tableau).Demonstrated success negotiating pricing, lead time, contract terms, etc.At Relativity Space, we are committed to transparency and fairness in our compensation practices.
