Join us! GoFundMe is searching for a passionate and driven Staff Product Manager with fintech or wealth management experience. In this high impact role you will build innovative financial tools that will enable individuals to manage their charitable donations with ease and efficiency. You will work with a passionate cross functional team to deliver meaningful financial and charitable experiences for our users.

The Job…

Develop and drive product strategy

for our wallet product, aligned with the company's vision and growth objectives.

Lead the full product development lifecycle , from conception to launch, collaborating with engineering, design, legal, finance, compliance, and marketing teams to ensure timely and high-quality delivery.

Own the roadmap

for the wallet product and prioritize features based on user needs, business goals, and technical feasibility.

Conduct deep market and user research

to understand the competitive landscape, regulatory environment, and customer needs, shaping the product to meet market demands.

Work closely with stakeholders

across legal, compliance, and finance to ensure the product meets regulatory and risk management requirements.

Define key performance indicators (KPIs)

for the product and use data-driven insights to iterate, improve, and optimize the user experience.

Own the product launch

and drive go-to-market strategy in collaboration with marketing and growth teams, ensuring a successful launch and scaling post-launch.

You…

Have at least

8 years of hands-on experience

in product management, with gradually increased responsibility.

Have at least 3 years of experience working in fintech and/or financial services, with a proven track record working on back-end financial systems including ledgers, pay-ins, pay-outs, wallets, reconciliation, data, integrations with 3rd party systems and more.

Have experience building or managing products related to Donor Advised Funds (DAF), philanthropy, wallets, or wealth management solutions (a plus, but not required).

Can translate complex fintech concepts into clear, actionable product plans that resonate with cross-functional teams.

Are comfortable working in fast-paced, ambiguous environments, driving clarity and focus on what matters. Entrepreneurial experience is a plus.

Have demonstrated leadership experience, managing complex product roadmaps and collaborating with multiple departments to bring innovative products to life.

Are data-driven and use key metrics to guide product iterations and decision-making.

Have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with a knack for articulating technical details to non-technical stakeholders.

Are passionate about using innovation to empower people in their charitable giving.

Able to work from our offices in San Francisco and collaborate in person with our teams, at least 2 days a week.

The total annual salary for this full-time position is $170,000 - $230,000 + equity + benefits. The salary range was determined by role, level, and possible location across the US. Individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
