Job Description
The Senior Manager, Analytics plays a key role in building and maintaining advanced analytic models, supporting Adtalem Global Education's institutions and Home Office in subjects related to admissions, retention, and financial outcomes. He/She will work closely with senior leadership to understand their needs and assess how they can be met through specific analyses. This role reports to the Director of Analytics and is a part of the Strategy and Business Development group. Identify analytic needs and requirements of the institutions by working closely with senior management; projects may include: root cause/regression analyses; benchmarking and best practice identification; financial and business impact of key initiatives and new ideas and external market analyses. Work within cross-functional and cross-institution project teams to solve business problems. Assist the organization and its institutions by providing reliable, relevant, and quality data and information to facilitate planning, budgeting, marketing & outreach analyses, accountability, program evaluation, and development of policy decisions. Work to enhance effective data and information flow between the institutions. Work with outside consultants including participation in the selection process and serving as an internal project team member. Translate analytic findings into simple, actionable, and practical solutions and recommendations. Synthesize recommendations into management-ready presentations with recommended actions. Completes other duties as assigned. Complies with all policies and standards. Qualifications
Master's Degree, MBA Preferred. Management consulting/professional service experience Preferred. Six (6) years of work experience with at least three (3) years in any of the following areas:
Marketing or management consulting Required. Database marketing and Analytics. Marketing or research analysis. Financial analysis. Statistical modeling and analysis.
Experience with reporting and visualization tools (e.g., Cognos BI, Tableau), advanced Excel functions and modeling, statistical and predictive analytics software (e.g., SPSS, R, SAS), and Hadoop or Python platforms. Strong analytical skills with a foundation in statistical techniques (e.g., regression, clustering, classification, Monte Carlo simulation). Ability to process ambiguous and/or seemingly conflicting data or information to create 'one version of the truth.' Ability to work in a dynamic and cross-functional environment, where multiple conflicting objectives need to be prioritized and achieved. Superior written and verbal communication skills including influencing and consensus building. Additional Information
In support of the pay transparency laws enacted across the country, the expected salary range for this position is between $93,596.21 and $169,021.85. Actual pay will be adjusted based on job-related factors permitted by law, such as experience and training; geographic location; licensure and certifications; market factors; departmental budgets; and responsibility.
