Responsibilities: Design and build advanced applications for the Android platform. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features. Work with outside data sources and APIs. Unit-test code for robustness, including edge cases, usability, and general reliability. Work on bug fixing and improving application performance. Continuously discover, evaluate, and implement new technologies to maximize development efficiency. Requirements: Proven software development experience and Android skills development. Proven working experience in Android app development and have published at least one original Android app. In-depth knowledge of C, C++, and Python. Experience with Android SDK. Experience with embedded systems, QNX, and RTOS. Experience working with remote data via REST and JSON. Experience with third-party libraries and APIs. Working knowledge of the general mobile landscape, architectures, trends, and emerging technologies. Solid understanding of the full mobile development life cycle. Preferred Qualifications: BS/MS degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related subject. Experience with Kotlin. Familiarity with cloud message APIs and push notifications. A knack for benchmarking and optimization. Understanding of Google’s Android design principles and interface guidelines. Compensation: The US base salary range for this full-time position is $192,100.00 - $249,600.00. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Please note that the compensation details listed in US role postings reflect the base salary only. It does not include discretionary bonus, equity, or benefits.
