This elimination of boundaries has allowed us to evolve into a law firm that works as hard for its culture as it does for its clients.Norton Rose Fulbright is seeking an associate with 4-8+ years of legal experience with respect to FERC electricity, with some exposure to project finance or project documents for energy transactions. The work will involve regulatory aspects of the development, financing, purchase and sale, and operation of a wide range of energy projects located throughout the country, with a particular focus on power purchase and other forms of offtake agreements, interconnection agreements, and grid and transmission issues, particularly in the renewable energy industry. This role will sit on our market-leading Projects team. The Projects group is Band 1 Chambers-ranked in all relevant categories and works on some of the most innovative, complex and challenging projects in the world.Location:

This position may be based in our Austin, Chicago, Dallas, Denver, Houston, Los Angeles, New York, San Antonio, San Francisco, or Washington, DC office. Applicants should indicate their office(s) of interest in their application.Position Information:

Employees are entitled to compensation commensurate with skill and experience. The full time base annual salary for this position in the New York City, Chicago, Denver, Los Angeles, and San Francisco market is expected to range between $310,000- $435,000. This range represents the firm's good faith and reasonable estimate of the range of possible compensation at the time of posting for a position in New York City, Chicago, Denver, Los Angeles, and San Francisco. Salaries in other markets will vary depending on market data. Bonus opportunities are non-guaranteed and are dependent upon individual and firm performance.Additional Benefits:
