Executive Director Position at The Woodwork InstituteThe Woodwork Institute (WI), a non-profit 501(c)(6) national organization whose primary purpose is to ensure excellence and craftsmanship in woodwork through certification and standards setting, seeks an Executive Director (ED).
The ED reports to a five-member Executive Committee and an eleven-member Board of Directors and manages ten to twelve individual staff and occasional consultants. The position involves managing an annual budget of approximately mid-seven figures.
Key Duties Include:
Working in collaboration with the WI Board.
Engaging with the Architectural Wood Manufacturers Association of Canada (AWMAC).
Collaborating with staff, specification writers, architects, and building owners.
Promoting significant growth in the use and compliance with our Standards (NAAWS).
The ideal candidate has a successful record of nonprofit management and/or equivalent experience. The position is based in Sacramento, and relocation will be required.
Salary:
$120,000 to $150,000 DOE with benefits package.
