Who we are:The program is on fire for cyber. In support of our customer, members of the team are responsible for providing full lifecycle support including analysis, design, development, integration, testing, procurement, deployment, security, training and sustainment for collection and antenna systems.
The Work:
The Level 3 Linux System Administrator (SA) shall possess the following capabilities:Provide support for implementation, troubleshooting and maintenance of IT systemsManage the daily activities of configuration and operation of IT systemsProvide assistance to users in accessing and using IT systemsProvide support to IT systems including day-to-day operations, monitoring and problem resolution for all of the client/server/storage/network devices, mobile devices, etc.Provide support for the escalation and communication of status to agency management and internal customersOptimize Linux system operations and resource utilization, and perform system capacity analysis and planning.Provide in-depth experience in trouble-shooting IT systemsProvide detailed analysis and feedback to agency management and internal customers for escalated ticketsProvide support for the dispatch system and hardware problems and remains involved in the resolution processConfigure and manage Linux operating systems and installs/loads operating system software, troubleshoot, maintain integrity of and configure network components, along with implementing operating systems enhancements to improve reliability and performanceSupport the design of systems, mission architecture and associated hardwarePossess a working knowledge and understanding of system administration interdependencies as part of the Service Oriented Architecture (SOA)Analyze and resolve complex problems associated with server hardware, applications and software integrationBasic Qualifications:Current DOD Top Secret SCI with Polygraph required
Fifteen (15) years of experience as a SA in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity is required. Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline from an accredited college or university is required. Five (5) years of additional SA experience may be substituted for a bachelor’s degree.

For Linux:• Must be DoD 8570.01-M certified• Familiar with STE/STN tools• Experience In:

Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.Work Schedules:
Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.Schedule for this Position:
9x80 every other Friday offPay Rate:The annual base salary range for this position in California and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Maryland, Washington or Washington DC is $112,800
- $216,100.Benefits offered:
