Senior Systems Engineer

Sunrise Futures is looking to hire a talented Senior Systems Engineer to join our team.The Role:Working collaboratively with the technology and business teams on all aspects of our global trading and research infrastructureResearching and implementing enhancements to our infrastructure systems as well as automation and monitoringExploring and working with industry-leading technology and hardwareWorking alongside industry experts in the fields of finance and technologyLead/mentor junior team membersTaking ownership of and leading projects from start to finish including design, roll out, and testingWorking on challenging and dynamic problems in a team atmosphereThe Requirements:5+ years of experience with unix systems engineering-oriented tasksBachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or an equivalent fieldExperience with unix servers working in bare metal and virtualized environmentsExperience with scripting languages and automation toolsExperience with low latency environments is a plus but not requiredExcellent written and verbal communication skillsMust be willing to take ownership and lead othersProblem solvers who are driven, self-motivated, and "outside of the box" thinkersMotivated, dependable, and responsible team playersThe Company:At Sunrise Futures, we bring science to trading.
