What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):Conduct detailed research and analysis on energy markets, infrastructure, and environmental policiesCollect and analyze data for modeling projects, developing analytical methods and toolsReview studies and market events to assess the impact of regulatory changes on infrastructureCreate and present written documents and reports conveying key analytic findings to clientsCollaborate effectively with colleagues and client staff as part of project teams
What is Required (Qualifications):Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Science, Engineering, or related fields1 to 8+ years of relevant work experience in the Energy and Infrastructure fieldUS Citizenship is requiredStrong quantitative, research, and policy analysis skillsProficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and data analysis, particularly using spreadsheets
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):Master’s degree in an applicable fieldExperience in energy consulting and coordination with the Department of EnergyFamiliarity with electric power grid and transmission or energy marketsDemonstrated ability to communicate findings effectively in written and verbal formatsKnowledge of renewable energy markets and infrastructure
