DAY TO DAY AS A SYSTEMS ENGINEER - MID LEVELJoin Mission Intelligence Group as a Mid-Level Systems Engineer and become an integral part of our team dedicated to supporting the National System of Geospatial-intelligence (NSG), Allied System of Geospatial-intelligence (ASG), and Federal Agencies. As a Systems Engineer in this role, you will lead requirements engineering, solutions engineering, reliability, integration, and analysis efforts to ensure the timely and accurate delivery of GEOINT. Your expertise will drive the development of innovative solutions, enhancing systems and capabilities to meet mission-critical objectives. Collaborate with a customer-focused and forward-thinking team to translate customer requirements into actionable solutions, supporting strategic technical planning and project management initiatives.

WHAT YOU NEED TO BE SUCCESSFULTo excel as a Mid-Level Systems Engineer at Mission Intelligence Group, candidates must possess a strong foundation in requirements engineering, solutions engineering, reliability, and systems integration. Proficiency in conducting analysis, developing solutions designs, and translating customer needs into technical requirements is essential. Successful candidates will demonstrate expertise in planning, traceability, and problem-solving within the National System of Geospatial-intelligence (NSG) and Allied System of Geospatial-intelligence (ASG) environments. The ability to engage in strategic technical planning, risk management, and interface design will be key to driving project success.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills are crucial for working effectively in a team-oriented, high-performance culture. A proactive approach to learning and adapting to new technologies and methodologies is highly valued. Required Skills and Experience:
Active TS/SCI Clearance
Bachelor's degree or higher in Systems Engineering or in a related technical or scientific fields such as Engineering, Physics, Mathematics, Operations Research, Engineering Management, Computer Science, Information Technology, Management Information Systems, or related STEM degree program, or related equivalent additional experience.
Mid-level working experience in government or industry in relevant work areas including: DoD/IC Acquisition Process, Requirements Process, PPBES Process or systems engineering of large complex System of Systems or Service Oriented Architecture environments residing in cloud, on premise, or hybrid infrastructures.
Mid-level or higher experience working systems engineering in government or industry.
Desired Skills and Experience:
Working knowledge of Model-Based Systems Engineering, processes, tools and languages and Software Development Frameworks.
INCOSE Associate Systems Engineering Professional (ASEP) certification.
Documented work experience in the field of geospatial intelligence.
Membership or active participation in any of the following professional organizations:
ACSM
ASCE
ASPRS
OGC
SAREM
USGIF
Working knowledge of photogrammetry, remote sensing, image science, information sciences, geographic information systems, geomatics, or related fields.
Demonstrated knowledge of the current NSG/ASG and NRO enterprises.
Previous NGA and/or NSG/ASG program/project work experience.
Previous IC or DoD program/project work experience.
