At Katanox we're looking for a Senior Back-End Engineer to join our team.

Our teamWhen you ask around, our team will tell you that we are solving big problems, helping each other, learning continuously, and working together to achieve our goals.We are Agile and follow the LeSS framework.We develop with Kotlin, React & Typescript.We deploy in AWS with Kubernetes.We monitor with Datadog.This role is based in the UK (commutable distance to London). We do not have mandatory office days, but we do have a beautiful hub in WeWork Paddington in London where we meet at times to collaborate on new features, big releases, and brainstorms.

In other words, own your code.Mentor, share knowledge and best practices to enable growth of junior engineers.Evolve current product and build new product modules, solutions, and features.About youYou have at least 5 years of overall programming experience and 2 years of experience with a JVM language, preferably Kotlin or Java.You have experience with design, development, testing, and monitoring of software.You are able to write well-defined unit/integration tests.You have a high sense of quality code and community best practices.You understand data structures, algorithms, and software design.Fluency in English.DesirableKnowledge of Spring Boot with either Gradle or Maven.Knowledge of any database querying tool.Experience of working with AWS.Working on B2B marketplace products.BenefitsCulture based on ownership, accountability, and autonomy.Ownership in the company (Stock Options Plan).25 days of holidays and flexibility in deciding when you want to use your bank holidays.Flexible working time.Office in Amsterdam and co-working spaces in London and New York.Apply for the jobDo you want to join our team as our Senior Back-End Engineer?
