Application Development Intern

Responsibilities will vary based on your placement, but may include:
Working with a team of fellow interns to solve real-world business challenges
Conducting research and preparing a variety of reports, presentations and communications
Interacting with internal clients exemplifying Lockton’s commitment to client focus
Actively participating in training and personal development sessions
Presenting in-person and virtually to internal clients and other Lockton Associates
Collaborating with assigned team on day-to-day responsibilities and requests
Performing other responsibilities and duties as needed
Qualifications
Student studying Computer Science, or other related fields
Student entering your junior or senior year
Able to commit to working the nine-week internship in Kansas City
Proven success in both academics and extracurricular activities, especially in leadership positions
Minimum 3.3 GPA (potential to substitute experience in lieu of GPA)
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel)
Ability to efficiently organize work and manage time in order to meet deadlines
Ability to work well in a fast-paced environment
Flexibility to easily adapt to changing priorities
Ability to comply with all company policies and procedures, proactively protecting confidentiality of client and company information
Legally able to work in the United States
