Description:Company is the leading provider of dynamic management systems for next generation satellite payloads. As a Systems Engineer, you will provide leadership and technical expertise, managing the technical aspects of a large software development program for our next generation of satellite communications software management and optimization systems. You will be responsible for the full systems engineering lifecycle from requirements analysis through design, development, integration, test, acceptance, delivery, and support.

Define system requirements and specificationsPerform requirements definition and allocation, functional analysis, design trade studies, and interface definitionTranslate customer requirements into system specificationsSupport integration and test and evaluate test resultsInvestigate discrepancies, provide technical assessment of anomalies, and drive issues to resolutionRequirements:
5 years of system engineering lifecycle experience, including all phases of the development lifecycle5 years of experience in technical management, integration, and test of complex software design/development programsExperience in requirements management spanning development, definition, analysis, and verificationExperience in facilitating cross-corporation Technical Interface Meetings and/or technical and project management working groupsExperience envisioning and communicating complex architecture strategy, plans, roadmaps, and drawings to stakeholdersExperience creating, maintaining, and communicating critical architecture and system engineering artifactsExperience in developing mission-critical or high availability real-time software is a plusExperience with systems engineering tools (e.g., MATLAB, DOORS)Experience in agile and incremental software development methodologiesSatellite system experience, including ground and payload design and operationEducation:
Bachelors or greater in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related technical degrees with demonstrated experience.
