Analyze, design, code, test, and deploy new user stories and product features with high quality (security, reliability, operations) to production. Understands the software development lifecycle and leverages critical thinking skills to properly evaluate features and functionality. Telecommuting and/or working from home may be permissible pursuant to company policies.Requirements:
Employer will accept a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field and 3 years of experience in the job offered or in an Application Engineer-related occupation.Position Required Skills:
Position requires 3 years of experience in the following: Applying software engineering practices including Agile Methodology and Pair Programming with Test Driven Development (TDD); Developing cloud computing microservices using Spring Boot, Spring Cloud, and consuming partner services; Designing and developing RESTful APIs using Spring Boot and Java, and deploying applications in Pivotal Cloud Foundry (PCF); Contributing towards Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) using tools including Gradle/Maven and Jenkins; Performing application monitoring and support; Developing and executing unit/integration test cases using Junit and Mockito framework for Test Driven Development; Utilizing Database CRUD operations on Oracle/MariaDB and MySQL databases; Utilizing Java, Spring Boot, Spring Cloud, Spring Data, Pivotal Cloud Foundry (PCF), Micro Services, RESTful Web Services, JUnit, and Mockito.Rate of Pay:
The base pay for this position generally ranges between $106,558.00 to $175,600.00. Additional incentives may be provided as part of a market competitive total compensation package. Factors, such as but not limited to, geographical location, relevant experience, education, and skill level may impact the pay for this position.
