FLSA Status: Exempt | Salary Range $75,000-$85,000

About the Role /
Driven by our values and an understanding of our culture, the Marketing Manager takes the lead responsibility for developing plans and executing projects and initiatives that support the broader short and long-term marketing strategy of the Company. In collaboration with key business partners (e.g., Culinary, IT, etc.), they ensure that the brand remains relevant through effective product and offer development. The Marketing Manager enlist others, such as vendor partners, agencies, and their team, in delivering projects that support the brand promise.
Core Responsibilities
Manages and executes marketing projects and initiatives by applying an understanding of consumer, market, and industry trends.
Converts brand strategies into action plans that deliver marketing growth opportunities.
Develops and nurtures cross-functional relationships to exchange information and support ongoing projects and initiatives.
Manages digital marketing campaigns including SEO, social, email, and traditional media campaigns.
Oversees project plans; organizes, monitors, and controls projects to ensure engagement, commitment, and risk management.
Develops and implements new strategies to leverage market segments.
Manages the strategy, design, and implementation of the guest loyalty program.
Monitors and analyzes key brand performance metrics.
Develops and manages project timelines and calendars.
Manages the budget for promotional initiatives and leads financial planning and reporting.
Analyzes the return on investment (ROI) of marketing initiatives.
Develops briefs to provide ongoing communications support on project status to ensure leadership alignment.
Supports and leverages vendor/agency relationships as needed.
Assigns and delegates tasks to marketing team members as appropriate.
Coaches for performance by delivering performance-based and developmental feedback.
Establishes and champions a positive, vibrant culture within the work group that is consistent with Company values.
Establishes short-term and long-term goals and strategic plans for the team.
Encourages knowledge-sharing, collaboration and best-practice sharing among team members.
Participates in talent review/succession planning and selection processes for positions within the department.
Leads the promo offering item and /or platform development process including ideation, development, testing, implementation, and post-analysis steps.
Ensures that marketing strategies and action plans are aligned with financial models and business models.
Supports and champions brand equity guidelines; ensures that promo, offering, item, and/or platforms are aligned with the brand; protects intellectual properties of the brand.
Manages relationships with media outlets.
Evaluates and communicates results of marketing projects and initiatives; identifies implications for the brand and provides recommendations for future actions.
Manages marketing project and initiative resources (e.g., tasks, contracts, budgets); supports and leverages vendor/agency relationships as needed.
Qualifications
3+ years of relevant work experience with at least one year in a Marketing role.
Knowledge and proficiency in Marketing Management, including consumer definition, situation assessment, financial analysis, and marketing strategy development.
Knowledge and proficiency in Brand Communications, including the ability to develop integrated communication plans and manage agencies/vendors.
Knowledge and proficiency in Product Innovation, including idea generation, concept development, and product optimization.
Knowledge and comfort with the use of computers and various programs and information systems.
Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field required.
Adjusts communication style such that it is effective with various audiences.
Analyzes and evaluates information and communicates (verbal and written) with clarity in the business environment.
Exercises appropriate judgment by using information and knowledge to make timely, effective decisions.
Prioritizes and re-prioritizes various job activities/tasks, including the ability to multi-task when necessary.
Works independently and with minimal supervision.
Adjusts scope or resources as appropriate; mitigates potential risk to the project.
Possesses organization and time management skills with the ability to organize, plan, and follow-up with tasks.
Mentors and trains others on work processes/procedures.
Previous experience in Restaurants, Hospitality, or Advertising Agency.
Must be able to travel to our restaurants on a periodic basis, which will require use of your vehicle on company time. Must maintain an excellent driving record. Other occasional travel may be required.
