Guidehouse seeks a dynamic and experienced Contract Specialist Sr. Consultant. In this role, you will act as a strategic advisor and facilitator responsible for managing a federal customer's acquisitions. Your primary objective will be to ensure effective communication, collaboration, and alignment during the acquisition process. You will work closely with internal stakeholders, external partners, and legal teams to support pre-award functions. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in acquisitions, exceptional interpersonal skills, and the ability to navigate acquisition processes.Responsibilities:Serve as a primary point of contact and liaison between contracting and program office.Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including legal, finance, and operations, to coordinate and streamline the acquisition process.Coordinate and manage the exchange of information, documents, and data.Ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements throughout the acquisition process.Assist in the development of acquisition strategies.Support the integration of acquired entities by collaborating with internal teams to align processes, systems, and culture.Monitor and track the progress of ongoing acquisitions, providing regular updates and reports to senior management.Stay informed about industry trends, market conditions, and emerging opportunities for potential acquisitions.Maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with professionalism and discretion.Communicate with all levels of an organization and prepare engaging and dynamic briefings for senior executives.Perform quality assurance reviews on written work products.Support the development and continuous improvement of Guidehouse acquisition methodologies and tools.Assist with business development activities, such as proposals, capture, account teams, whitepapers, conferences, and/or other thought leadership materials.What You Will Need:Bachelor's degree from an accredited university.Three (3)+ years of overall work experience.Proven experience working in federal acquisitions.Strong knowledge of the federal acquisition process.Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with diverse stakeholders.Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a keen attention to detail.Ability to navigate complex business environments and manage multiple stakeholders and priorities.Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.Exceptional organizational and project management skills, with the ability to meet deadlines and deliver high-quality work.Strong business acumen and strategic thinking capabilities.Ability to write and edit reports, create briefings for senior executives, research and write articles, and customize content for various audiences.Proficient use of the suite of Microsoft Office products.What Would Be Nice To Have:Industry-recognized certifications, such as the Project Management Professional.Federal acquisition experience across multiple agencies to leverage lessons learned, best practices, and innovative approaches for solving complex procurements.The annual salary range for this position is $94,900.00-$142,300.00.
