Intake Attorney
We are an established real estate law firm with offices across California. Our Concord office is looking for an Intake Attorney to join our fast-paced team. If chosen as the successful candidate, you will be responsible for working with clients (property owners and managers) on landlord-tenant matters and assessing the viability of evictions.About Us:With over 45 years in the California legal industry and six offices statewide, our firm was founded on a commitment to customer service that has flourished within our culture of inclusion and diversity. Our mission is to provide the highest quality, cost-effective legal services to our clients.Compensation Range:$95,000-$130,000 DOEResponsibilities:Assist clients step-by-step through every phase of the eviction processProvide legal advice through phone consultations, assessing the facts and issues of each scenarioConduct legal research in order to identify and assess cases and legal issuesDraft legal correspondence, including letters and notices, based on client needsConduct and direct legal document preparation and review, including summons and complaints and stipulationsAssist with occasional court appearances and client presentationsQualifications:We are looking for candidates with the following qualifications:J.D. and an active California Bar license (pending December 2024 license accepted)1+ years of attorney experienceGeneral knowledge of civil litigationThe following qualifications are preferred:General overview of landlord-tenant principlesKnowledge of the litigation process and California Civil CodeSome contact with the rental housing industrySchedule:Position is full-time, exempt. Our business hours are 8:30am-5:30pm Monday-Thursday, 8:30am-5:00pm Friday.We currently offer a hybrid in-office remote work model for select positions within the Firm.
