About the Job: Construction Associate Attorney - Hartford We are seeking a highly qualified and motivated Construction Associate Attorney to join our Hartford office. This position involves managing all aspects of construction litigation cases, which includes providing legal advice and representing clients in both federal and state courts. The ideal candidate will be responsible for conducting legal research, drafting various legal documents, and playing a key role in trials. This role is pivotal in ensuring the effective resolution of construction disputes, offering a dynamic work environment and the opportunity for significant career advancement. Compensation:

$155,000.00 - $170,000.00 Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Manage all phases of construction litigation cases, from initial case assessment to resolution. Conduct thorough legal research and analysis on various construction law issues. Draft pleadings, motions, and discovery responses to effectively advocate for our clients. Engage extensively in trial preparation, including collaborating with expert witnesses. Represent clients in court, articulating legal arguments with clarity and persuasiveness. Participate in depositions, motion practices, and other critical legal proceedings. Minimum Position Qualifications: JD from a top-tier law school with a strong academic record. Bar Admission in Connecticut. Admission in New York and/or Massachusetts is advantageous. 3-5 years of direct experience in construction litigation. Demonstrated legal writing and oral advocacy skills. High level of organizational ability and meticulous attention to detail. Preferred Qualifications: Experience practicing in both state and federal courts. Proven track record of successfully managing complex litigation cases. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision. Prior experience in collaborating with expert witnesses in construction-related cases. Knowledge of the latest legal precedents and regulations affecting the construction industry. Skills: Exceptional legal research and writing ability. Strong advocacy skills and courtroom demeanor. Effective communication and interpersonal skills. Strategic thinking and problem-solving capabilities. Excellent time management and organizational skills.
