In this role you will play a critical role in developing and executing lifecycle strategies across various channels, including email, push, in-app messages, and in-app content cards to drive growth, engagement and retention of Venmo users. As a people manager you will lead a squad of marketers finding opportunities for impact, proposing, briefing, project managing and measuring campaigns and other tactics, in close collaboration with cross-functional teams including Marketing Operations, Product, Engineering, Analytics, Legal, Product Marketing and Creative.A successful candidate will have a strong background leading strategic and technical lifecycle marketing programs at an Enterprise scale. We are looking for someone who has people management experience, a high attention to detail, and who can be a player-coach on the team, delivering measurable impact and driving clarity in requirements and prioritization.What You'll DoDrive ideation, strategy, and execution of scaled lifecycle campaigns across owned channels (email, in-app, push) to generate and margin from activations and app engagement.Leverage marketing automation, behavioral data, and ML models to create personalized experiences at scale.Work with a cross-functional team to build new lifecycle experiences for new products that Venmo brings to market, with a focus on driving growth, engagement and retention.Manage the team shaping Early Life, Churn Prevention and Reactivation, as well as Partnerships campaigns in lifecycle channel, developing and evolving user journeys.Generate data-driven hypotheses that inform strategies to continuously optimize evergreen lifecycle campaigns for performance and impact, working with analytics to measure and socialize findings and develop next steps toward bigger wins.Design iterative experimentation plans to continuously optimize and improve campaign effectiveness.Help evolve and supervise channel guidelines and governance, preserving and protecting the quality and integrity of our communications ecosystem in collaboration with Lifecycle Marketing and Marketing Operations leads.Support the culture of customer-centricity and experimentation on the Engagement Marketing team.What We're Looking For6-9 years of hands-on experience in a Lifecycle, CRM, Retention Marketing role (or comparable), with a focus on mobile-first channels; some experience ideally at an Enterprise-scale brand.2+ years of people management experience.Deep knowledge of the email landscape and best practices including deliverability and privacy.Demonstrated project management skills with keen eye for detail - ability to lead, develop and provide clear direction, prioritization and planning.The ability to interpret data, ask the right questions, analyze campaign results and find opportunities to improve and optimize performance going forward, communicating those insights and plans to partners.Experience articulating requirements to Product, Engineering, and Data Science to facilitate technical workstreams.Accountability to deliver high quality work and are proactive to share new insights with peers and leadership.Highly analytical and comfortable with reporting and analysis of financial metrics.Financial services/fin-tech experience preferred.Additional Job Description:Subsidiary:
