Primary Purpose: Develops and directs all law enforcement and security plans and safety programs for the district; organizes and directs personnel to provide security and protective services for staff, students and district property.Qualifications:Associate’s degree in occupational safety or bachelor’s degree in any field or equivalent experienceCertified Safety Professional (CSP) or Occupational Health and Safety Technologist (OHST) preferredValid Texas driver’s licenseSpecial Knowledge/Skills:Knowledge of health and safety programs and applicable lawsAbility to interpret and disseminate information to individuals and groupsAbility to use software to develop spreadsheets and perform data analysisAbility to provide effective safety training programsAbility to apply principles of measurement and analysis to evaluate safety performanceEffective communication and interpersonal skillsExperience:
Two years’ experience in safety management, occupational safety and health, or related field.Salary Range:
