We are seeking a dynamic and strategic Content Marketing and Communications Manager to lead the development and execution of a comprehensive content strategy that establishes the company as a thought leader and trusted advisor in the market. This role involves overseeing the production of high-impact content—such as whitepapers, case studies, webinars, newsletters, and other key materials—ensuring that client-facing communications are clear, consistent, and aligned with business objectives. Additionally, this hybrid position manages internal communications to foster organizational alignment and enhance employee engagement, collaborating closely with executive leadership on initiatives that support both business goals and company culture.
Key Responsibilities
Provide content leadership to the marketing team, ensuring all content meets quality standards, aligns with the brand, and supports strategic goals. Plan and maintain content calendars while assisting product marketing in developing thought leadership materials and case studies.
Develop and manage a communications calendar for client newsletters and critical business/product updates, ensuring consistent and impactful messaging across all channels.
Analyze content and communication performance metrics, adjusting strategies as necessary to enhance engagement and effectiveness.
Manage design resources for content creation, including collateral, case studies, and thought leadership pieces.
Build a leadership presentation calendar and submit applications for industry events to promote executive and subject matter expert visibility in the market.
Direct the social media content strategy, collaborating with internal teams and agency partners while tracking results for ongoing optimization of social content.
Support video projects from ideation to publishing and promotion, ensuring alignment with the strategic content needs of the business.
Develop and implement a comprehensive internal communications strategy to enhance employee engagement and effectively convey key leadership messages. This includes creating written and multimedia content, facilitating town halls, and supporting initiatives such as employee appreciation months and major releases to keep employees informed and connected.
Requirements
10+ years of content marketing experience delivering highly successful content programs, with a focus on B2B marketing and social media.
3+ years of experience in internal communications or a related field, with a proven track record of collaborating with senior leaders.
BA/BS degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
Superior copywriting skills with the ability to create effective messaging and compelling content in various formats for a diverse audience, including prospects, clients, partners, and industry influencers.
Experience with content marketing and marketing concepts, including buyer personas, content and customer journey mapping, campaign development, and analyzing content performance metrics to drive strategic improvements.
Experience with social media marketing, focusing on both brand building and lead generation.
Self-motivated, well-organized individual with a keen attention to detail, able to effectively prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
Strong communication and project management skills for effective collaboration with designers, developers, external agencies, and others involved in content and digital design projects.
Familiarity with marketing automation and project management tools, such as ClickUp, Knack, Marketo, and Salesforce, is a plus.
A background in healthcare or technology is advantageous.
Multimedia design experience is a plus.
