California, USAThe Liability Management & Restoration (LM&R) service line is seeking a
Principal Remediation Specialist
to join the North America team. This position will be based in southern California and will focus on leading the continued growth of the LM&R service line. The successful candidate will lead project teams in the performance of contaminated site investigations and remediation projects including the development and implementation of remedial strategies leading to site closure. Role will include client meetings, proposal preparation, project execution and management, technical review and mentorship, regulatory meetings/negotiations, client interface and strategy development. Projects may include a variety of commercial and light to heavy industrial sites for private and government clients.Overall Responsibilities and Key Accountabilities:
Provide technical review, project execution & management of contaminated site investigation and remediation projects.Build client relationships in southern California that support the LM&R service line strategy.Support the growth of the LM&R service line through the development of business strategies, client relationships and opportunity pursuits.Work with other Worley business leaders and subject matter experts (SMEs) to connect LM&R's capabilities and expertise to opportunities and projects in the larger Worley business.Provide leadership/mentorship and career development opportunities for staff.Qualifications:
Science, Engineering, Business or Industry-related degree or equivalent qualification.Minimum of 15 years of experience including management and planning related to site investigation and remediation projects, including field experience and subcontractor management.Professional registration as California PE, PG or CHg.Technical skills to review reports and proposals. Experience presenting group capabilities to internal and external clients.Ability to foster collaboration across the LM&R service line as well as other parts of Worley.Experience leading and contributing to project proposals.Ability to solve difficult technical problems, meet regulatory challenges, and present solutions to clients and regulators. Ability to travel regionally and across North America (as needed) to represent Worley Consulting and/or the broader Worley organization in sales pursuits and to support teams/projects.Communication skills to liaise effectively with project staff, technical experts, and clients, to ensure project solutions are appropriately tailored to the client's objectives.Additional Information:
