Discovery Consumer Products. This role is based in our Burbank office and reports to the Marketing Director. In partnership with the Director, this role assists in planning and executing consumer & retail marketing initiatives that support growth for the exciting WBD portfolio (Harry Potter, DC, Animation, Discovery & more). This role assists in the planning and implementation of marketing tactics that drive customer engagement and align with our sales and brand objectives. This role also works in close partnership with North America Sales and RBD to execute retail marketing campaigns, differentiation, and sell-through initiatives across retail accounts in North America.Your Role Accountabilities...Strategic PlanningManages marketing and project timelines while clearly communicating and collaborating with key stakeholdersAdPub support & oversight - annual budget planning, additional requests. Manages day-to-day requests, monitors spend, PO managementTracks and maintains marketing spend documentation in partnership with marketing managers and prepares reports and presentations to meet quarterly forecast milestonesSupports Marketing planning including cross-divisional planning and communication with key stakeholdersMarketing & AdvertisingAssists and coordinates the preparation of presentation materials for external and internal presentations in partnership with Marketing DirectorCoordinates and facilitates creative projects and submissions on behalf of Sales & RBD and Marketing team in partnership with the Marketing DirectorExecutes agency related marketing programs tied to affiliates and ambassadors related to key initiativesContributes on new business pitches (marketing ideas) as requestedContributes marketing support information to category and licensee updatesMarketing consulting and approvalsReview and approval of retail and consumer marketing activities and submissions for NA region for assigned franchises. Routing to Global if required.Deployment of good judgement when evaluating options and recommendation of workable solutions if submissions do not meet franchise requirements.Special ProjectsSupports production of special events, annual trade shows, and industry events including working with agencies and venues for North America B2B Summit, Comic Con, etc. on behalf of marketing team and larger North America CP teamMarketing AnalyticsAggregates post promotional performance of Marketing plans to measure effectiveness against Ad Pub/marketing spendTracks performance of competitive Marketing programs to develop insights and next stepsResponsibility and Success MeasurementsSales / Sell ThruMarket Share GrowthTraffic and conversion from paid media & marketing, online and in-storeFlawless execution of marketing programs that support sales strategiesQualifications & Experience..Work Experience2+ years of work experience in Licensing industry, a licensor, vendor, retailer, or entertainment environment preferredEducation, Professional Training, Technical Training or CertificationBachelor’s degree in marketing, business or related field or equivalent work experience preferredKnowledge/SkillsBasic licensing industry knowledge with intellectual curiosityAbility to take direction and assist Manager in executing strategic and operational planBasic understanding of financial forecasts and budgetsStrong collaboration and partnership skillsProven ability to communicate effectively with persons on all levelsStrong organizational/leadership and planning skills requiredAbility to create pitch/presentationsStrong working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, specifically Excel, Word and PowerPointAbility to work in a team environment with changing priorities; possess flexibility and adaptability skills in addition to strong project managementExceptional time management and prioritization skills with ability to multi-task with a high degree of attention to detail and accuracyWell organized with effective and proven planning and follow-through skillsAbility to work well under time pressure and time constraintsSelf-starter, optimistic and dependableOther RequirementsManagement has the right to add or change duties and job requirements at any time.Championing Inclusion at WBDWarner Bros. Actual salaries will vary based on several factors, including but not limited to external market data, internal equity, location, skill set, experience, and/or performance. Base pay is just one component of Warner Bros. Discovery’s total compensation package for employees. Pay Range: $47,466.00 - $88,150.00 salary per year. Other rewards may include annual bonuses, short- and long-term incentives, and program-specific awards. In addition, Warner Bros. Discovery provides a variety of benefits to employees, including health insurance coverage, an employee wellness program, life and disability insurance, a retirement savings plan, paid holidays and sick time and vacation.
