Our clients receive the safest and most cost-effective results because we provide comprehensive solutions that address all aspects: engineering, safety, procedures, and training.We are looking to fill the role of a Fall Protection Training Professional for our Safety practice. The Fall Protection Training Professional is responsible for completing internal or external fall protection training on-site or at the client's designated location.Pay:
$65,000 to $95,000/year
FALL PROTECTION TRAINING PROFESSIONAL ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:Facilitate LJB’s Fall Protection courses, including training for Competent Persons, Authorized Persons, and Qualified Persons.Lead courses delivered to LJB clients (1 day to 5 days in length).Uncover client needs during training.Gather individual class evaluation data.Provide input to the development and delivery of safety training programs.Additional Responsibilities and Duties:Willingness to travel to visit various US-based client locations.The ability to climb and work at heights using fall protection is required to demonstrate the use of fall protection.Excellent written and verbal communication skills required.Ability to react quickly and calmly to high-pressure situations.Able to present a professional demeanor in any setting or situation.Ability to work independently and in team settings.Other duties as assigned.FALL PROTECTION TRAINING PROFESSIONAL ESSENTIAL CREDENTIALS:Education:Associate degree required in safety, health and environment or related field (Bachelors preferred).Associate Safety Professional Certification (CSP preferred) or obtainable within two years.SPRAT/IRATA certifications preferred.Qualifications:Minimum six years of adult education/training experience, preferably in the field of safety training, specifically fall protection training.Experience with training using instructional systems development (ISD) is strongly preferred.Microsoft Office experience required.FALL PROTECTION TRAINING PROFESSIONAL KEY COMPETENCIES:Professional attitudeInnovative ideasCritical thinkingQuick and continuous learningInterpersonal communicationCustomer awarenessCollaborationFALL PROTECTION TRAINING PROFESSIONAL PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:Must be able to traverse worksite in different types of weather and bend, climb, stretch, reach, and lean to perform duties.Must meet the weight capacity of design perimeters of fall protection systems (between 130 to 310 lbs.).LJB Inc. is an equal opportunity employer and prohibits discrimination and harassment of any kind.
