Delivery Managers
serve as the Chief Scrum Master across all delivery teams within a product. They are responsible for the overall solution delivery and support of large-scale programs with complex integrations. Delivery Managers are responsible for managing the communication across program stakeholders, defining mitigation strategies to remediate risks & issues, and assisting teams to ensure that the value being delivered aligns to the product vision defined by product managers.
The
Delivery Manager
will be responsible and accountable for organizing and directing large-scale, technical programs with multiple internal and external stakeholders. This role is responsible for planning and governance and for overseeing the successful implementation of the program using a hybrid Waterfall/Agile approach that combines a structured project planning approach and a flexible, iterative approach to software development.
ROLE
Allocates resources and provides teams with necessary support to address impediments.
Manages delivery team metrics to evaluate progress against delivery milestones (i.e. releases).
Aggregates individual product team status into portfolio-level risks, assumptions, and interdependencies.
Reports on overall delivery status to program leadership and various stakeholders.
Establishes and organizes application development plans that align with the goals and strategies.
Revises standards in response to change.
Understands Resource Management and the value of the resource management; and may practice one or more behaviors associated with the skill.
Investigates, manages, and applies authorized requests for changes to base-lined requirements, in line with change management policy.
Works with stakeholders to manage scope, create a roadmap, program timeline, project plans, and delivery milestones.
Works with Product Managers and Product Owners to document impacted business processes.
Drives tactical day-to-day delivery process, including removing impediments that negatively impact productivity or block the team’s process.
Reports on overall program status to program leadership and various stakeholders.
Works with Product Owners to plan release schedules across products.
Works with Product Managers to facilitate system demos to business stakeholders.
Works with Product Managers to develop training and transition plans.
Collaborates with Solution architects, Enterprise Architects, Engineers, Vendors, and business leaders across business facing verticals and IT services.
Ensures effective communication, collaboration, coordination, and engagement across portfolios and products.
Coordinates work effort and their interdependencies.
Aggregates individual workstream status into program level risks, assumptions, and interdependencies.
Coordinates the resolution of internal and external dependencies across work streams and shared services.
Ensures adherence to IT Governance processes.
Ensures key decisions and deliverables are documented, approved, and stored for reference.
Supports program audits.
Mentors team leaders as needed with program processes, communication, and artifacts.
Recognizes, gathers, and tracks risks and takes corrective measures proactively.
Coordinates the resolution of issues.
Develops the resource plan and acquires resources as needed.
Manages the utilization of resources across workstreams.
Develops budgets, manages changes, and tracks actual costs and variance to approved budget.
Develops SOWs and works through the approval process for Governance and Financial review.
REQUIRED
10+ years’ Project management experience on enterprise level, large complex technology projects.
Experience with the Waterfall methodology, the Agile approach, and a hybrid Waterfall-Agile methodology.
Proven record of successful program and project delivery.
Ability to manage program level activities by developing and executing against a strategic program roadmap.
Ability to understand and articulate technology requirements and milestones.
Ability to create and manage project plans, and identify critical paths, including integration and data efforts.
Risk management expertise - ability to lead the resolution of high impact issues and risks.
Change management expertise.
Proficient with budgeting and financial tracking.
Strong leadership skills.
Strong interpersonal and diplomacy skills, ability to work with a variety of personality types.
Proven ability to develop business relationships and communicate successfully with people at all levels of management.
Strong communication skills, both oral and written, including presentation skills.
Strong sense of urgency.
Must work with a positive attitude.
Minimum commitment of one year to the same team.
Recommended
PMP, PgMP, Agile, SAFe RTE certifications.
Technical and/or data related acumen, as a program management leader.
Experience with Product Data Management/PIM implementation programs.

Level 3 - $125,000 - $155,000
Level 4 - $145,000 - $200,000
