C2C is not allowed)Identify and drive improvements to software processesDrive application performance and memory usage improvementsAnalyze and root cause software issuesParticipate in code reviewsDesign and execute unit testsHelp define requirements and evaluate technical feasibility of implementationInterface with co-located internal and external development teamsContribute innovative ideas to improve software on Operator Interface DisplaysQualifications:B.S. in Computer Engineering, or Electrical Engineering4+ years of software development experience2+ years of native embedded programming in C++2+ years of Android/Java application development experience, with a portion in Android Studio and/or GradleSpecialized/Practical Knowledge:In-depth knowledge of Android APIsFamiliar with best practices in Android application developmentKnowledge of performance profiling methods and tools used in Android developmentExperience with IPC methods such as Binder, AIDL, Message QueuesExperience with software development for the automotive and/or off highway vehicle industryUnderstanding of Automotive networking protocols such as J1939, CAN, LINExperience with Git and Gerrit in a team environmentExperience with established Software Development Processes such as V-Model or AgileExperience with automated build tools and continuous integration (e.g. Jenkins)MACHINE LEARNING TECHNOLOGIES LLC is an equal opportunity employer inclusive of female, minority, disability and veterans, (M/F/D/V).
