Traditional System Administration.Full lifecycle of provisioning, installation, configuration, & administration of Virtual Machines, Operating Systems, and FOSS/COTS technology stacks.Administration and troubleshooting of network interfaces including the understanding of ports, protocols, and common enterprise system interfaces.Work with cloud computing and virtualization technologies like VMware & AWS.Work with industry standard security practices to secure and harden enterprise systems.Create scripts in languages such as Python, Bash, and Groovy.Use Configuration Management (CM) technologies such as Puppet or Chef.Work with deployment / provisioning automation tools like Ansible, Terraform, and Packer.Work with container solutions (e.g. Docker) and container orchestration solutions (e.g. Kubernetes).Manage baseline code using a Version Control System.Required:
Minimum of 5 years experience with Infrastructure and/or Software Engineering.Expert level skills with the Linux platform.Familiarity with cloud computing and virtualization technologies.Experience with scripting languages such as Python, Bash, and Groovy.Effectively be able to communicate and work collaboratively within a multi-disciplined team to provide and maintain the core infrastructure components necessary to satisfy mission needs.CompTIA Security+ Certification.Clearance Requirement: Must be a US Citizen with a current TS/SCI clearance.Qualifications That Are Desired:
Experience with VMWare and AWS.Experience with Puppet.Experience with Terraform, Ansible, and Packer.Experience with Docker/Kubernetes.EDUCATION:
Bachelor's Degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics (STEM) degree program from an Accredited University/School/College is preferred with 5+ years of relevant work experience.
